PANIC PRIEST is the darkwave-centric project of Chicago’s "dark crooner" Jack Armondo - who channels themes of death, sex, and doomed romance into haunting anthems for our turbulent times. By blending atmospheric synths, soaring guitars, dancefloor-driven beats, and commanding baritone vocals, PANIC PRIEST creates emotionally charged and infectious midnight melodies that stand at the forefront of the modern dark scene.
Known for his electrifying one-man live performances, PANIC PRIEST fuses hard rock energy with the pulse of hook-laden, danceable dark pop. Armondo has cultivated a deep and lasting connection with his ever-expanding fanbase, drawn to the raw emotional resonance and timeless allure of his voice.
With the new album Once Wild (co-produced by longtime collaborator Brian Fox), PANIC PRIEST once again broadens his sonic horizons - embracing glam, Italo disco, dream pop, and cinematic goth, all while remaining anchored in the melodic emotional gravity that has defined his work from the start.
