and fall and fall and fall, the brainchild of Italian dark ambient/electronic artist Dora L, has released a visualizer video for the song “by the exit,” taken from the upcoming album “the meadows,” out on February 24th via UKhan Records.

“the meadows” deals with the echoes of other worlds, from which diaphanous creatures reverberate a fierce nostalgia for a lost world, breathing into the hearts of sleepless souls, in tired and windy dawns, in cold mornings where a pale sun languishes among milky skies. Transatlantic melancholies toward new frozen deserts, waiting for the next ambush or the next flood. The pointless nostalgia for the world felt by the lost ones; there is nothing but desolation, abandonment, loss. Electrified abysses peer into the innocent hearts of country girls, and it's scandal and tragedy.
These feelings are experimented in music through neoclassical distortions, chamber electronics, industrial turmoil, pre-apocalyptic ambient, lo-fi languors, decrepit pianos, ancient enchantments rediscovered on ruined cassette tapes, hallucinatory rural trip-hop for a feral celebrations to the Queen of a rainy May.

and fall and fall and fall is the solo project of Dora L. a member of the band For The Glory of Nothing. She's a girl from the 20th century and living near the Italian city of Catania, even though she was born ("unfortunately", she says) elsewhere.
Self-taught in all things music and electronic composition, she is a meticulous reverb tormentor and a ferocious manipulator of samples. She writes lyrics as if they were oracles, blowing them off into electrical circuits. Regarding her musical influences she brags around obsessively listening to only two artists: Death in June and Lana Del Rey, but there's no real reason in believing in what she says since she is, as we've already said, just a girl, and everybody knows they like to lie about almost everything.
