Continuing his ambitious monthly release campaign, UK dark alternative artist j:dead returns today the 3rd of July with his eighth single, called “Draws My Blood.”

A brooding fusion of gothic atmosphere, industrial rock aggression and haunting melodic undertones, “Draws My Blood” marks the darker chapter in j:dead's ongoing series of releases. Moving away from the electronic focus of the previous two singles, “Draws My Blood” leans heavily into crushing guitars, ominous textures guiding you in and out of the track and a relentless industrial pulse. An unsettling soundtrack for its deeply personal lyrical themes.

At its heart, “Draws My Blood” explores the erosion that can occur when we allow others to take pieces of who we are. The song examines the slow process of being diminished by those around us while questioning our own role within the cycle.

The track delves into the uncomfortable space between victim and villain, forcing listeners to confront a difficult question: when enough has been taken away, are we still the person we once were - or have we become something darker ourselves?

As the eighth release in j:dead's year-long monthly campaign, “Draws My Blood” further demonstrates his ability to explore complex emotional landscapes through a distinctive blend of gothic darkness and industrial intensity.
