UK-based industrial/electronic artist j:dead continues his ambitious 12 singles in 12 months campaign with the release of “Over The Years,” available now on Infacted Recordings.
The track is a deeply personal reflection on reconnecting with a past love after more than a decade apart. Through candid lyrics, the track revisits moments of insecurity, immaturity, and a lack of integrity from the perspective of a younger man. Yet rather than dwelling in regret, “Over The Years” embraces the idea that past trauma and mistakes were necessary stepping stones; hard lessons that ultimately led to growth, maturity, and becoming a better version of oneself.
